As maintenance director, Cory takes great pride in maintaining the cosmetic and mechanical aspects of Lumina Las Vegas. “Keeping the community looking spectacular and the residents comfortable is very rewarding.” Cory approaches his responsibilities with a true sense of compassion. “I want to keep resident rooms areas clean and maintained.”

Cory has worked in other residential environments but finds the rewards he receives from serving seniors is much more satisfying. “Residents are far more genuine in their gratitude for keeping their lives comfortable.”

In addition to maintenance, Cory has worked in construction and fabrication. Describing himself as a “big” hiker, he has climbed Mount Charleston, Red Rock Canyon, and Lone Mountain countless times. He’s also hiked along the Colorado River from Willow Beach to beyond the Hoover Dam. An avid football fan, Cory played for 16 years. 

When he’s not keeping Lumina looking great, Cory also enjoys daily trips to the gym and taking online courses at ASU in engineering. (And he can watch the original Jurassic Park any day, any time.)
