Chris Velasquez brings a lifelong hands-on mindset and a deep sense of care to his role as Maintenance Director at Lumina LV. Inspired by caring for his grandparents and a desire to serve older adults, he found a meaningful way to combine technical skill with a compassionate spirit. Chris enjoys helping residents by solving problems, responding to everyday needs, and keeping the community running smoothly. His background includes HVAC training, vocational studies through the carpenter’s union, and years of experience in carpentry, caregiving, and support roles for children with disabilities.

He believes success in senior living requires compassion, communication, commitment, and creativity to “find ways and solutions to solve problems.” Outside of work, Chris enjoys fishing, outdoor adventures, UFC events, rock concerts, and spending time with family.
