Embracing new challenges appeals to Brett, which is why working in the new Lumina Las Vegas community was a great fit. “Lumina Las Vegas is exemplary in its architectural and interior design,” he says. “Working with the leadership team is awesome!”

As Maintenance Director, Brett’s duties are many—ensuring safety, maintaining the facilities, and keeping all building occupants and visitors comfortable. He’s well prepared for the job, having worked in the facilities management field with Nevada state agencies for 29 years, as well as 5 years as Facility Manager at Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health. He graduated with an AS in Mechanical/Industrial Technology from College of Southern Nevada (CSN) in 2006, and also has a BS in Business Management from Nevada State College.

Brett makes sure to greets those he works with and sees each day because, as he says, “You never know what someone is going through.” In his spare time, he enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and riding ATVs. He’s also interested in horticulture, and he likes spending time with family and friends in Southern California theme parks and at Torrey Pines State Beach.

Youngest of nine, Brett has lived in the Las Vegas area since he was six months old. He currently has a bunny and a Husky, and is looking to find a German Shepherd and a Golden Retriever to add to his family.
