Becky’s passion and dedication for serving older adults really caught fire in her days as a student of music therapy. And now 30 years later, joining Solera Senior Living feels like “coming home. How wonderful to work in an environment where I can provide the care, support, and meaningful life that I feel our residents deserve, with the backing and excitement of Solera!”

As Memory Care Director, Becky finds that creativity is the core value that most strikes a chord for her. “I love finding creative workarounds or approaches to help make life better for residents, families, and co-workers,” says Becky. “Spending quality time with each person is the best part of what I do.”

As a music therapist, it’s only natural that Becky knows how to play musical instruments—and she does. Quite a few actually. She also enjoys hiking and rock-hounding with her geologist husband, as well as playing with their puppy (and the cat they found while rock-hounding in the desert). And, with a never-ending passion for creativity, Becky loves learning new things, so she often uses her vacation time to attend conferences and seminars.

But her dream vacation? Going back to Scotland. “We were there for our honeymoon and it really ruined everywhere else for us. It’s absolutely beautiful and the people are just lovely.”
