As Move-In Coordinator, Alyson has a lot of interaction with families. It’s what she most loves about her position. “Meeting and educating families about the dementia journey is what I most enjoy, as well as how Solera’s approach is unique.”

Alyson understands that no two people experience the disease of dementia in the same way, which his why it’s so important to be creative when deciding how best to care for them. That’s why the core value of creativity speaks strongly to her. She extends that to family members as well, saying, “Everyone processes it differently.”

She brought her 10 years of experience in senior living to her position when she joined Solera Senior Living. “I was drawn to Lumina Las Vegas specifically because they are Memory Care only. I love helping families.” Alyson also has a BS in political science from the University of Massachusetts. In her personal time, Alyson enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Charlie Bean. She and her husband are empty nesters, with three grown children. She also makes a “mean chocolate chip cookie.”
